Memento Mori

Memento Mori was the quote it was said to generals who returned triumphant from battle in Ancient Rome. Remember that you will die, was the meaning. The intention was to inspire, motivate and provide clarity to people who, at that point may have felt invincible.

Back in the day, Memento mori was a popular concept in art, philosophy and life. Life’s fleeting nature should inspire purposeful living and intentional planning in all of us.

My purpose of this year, as I turned 50, was to make progress in planning and explaining my wished for my final years. I’m still young, and I feel perfectly fine, and this is exactly the reason why I think we need to plan for our last years and act beautifully and intentionally, to ensure the next decades are the best!

Whether you’re preparing for your golden years or leaving a well-organized farewell, our End of Life Planners, T-shirts, and thoughtfully designed promotional articles will help you navigate the unknown with grace, humor, and practicality.

Why Plan for the End of Life?

Planning our final years is not morbid; it’s actually empowering. Life throws surprises, but ensuring your loved ones have clarity and direction is a gift only you can give. After all, do you want to leave them guessing about bank passwords scribbled on sticky notes—or offer them a roadmap that truly says, “I cared enough to think ahead”?

From personal experience, I can tell you: planning makes all the difference. My father passed without a will, leaving us in legal limbo for years. On the other hand, my father-in-law’s meticulous preparation allowed everything to be resolved within a month. This contrast inspired me to create a planner that balances practicality with heart, ensuring your story is not just remembered, but celebrated.
